  About the photographer

 

Allan Coleman has been an avid part-time photographer since 1989. Capturing moments in time with a photojournalistic approach. 

Accomplishments

- published in several newspapers and magazines

- published on a magazine cover as well as a sci-fi book
 
- Staff Photographer for Midwest Models Expo 2004 and 2005
 
- Fundraising pet shoots for K-9 Search and Rescue with Towne and Country Animal Hospital in Brighton, Michigan

- Photographer at a large Modeling Expo in Chicago (MODEX)

- Photographed over a hundred models for their portfolios in the past several years

- Photographs that have been used for commercial advertising and web sites

- Photographs have been used to assist fire investigators to establish fire cause and origin.

- Working in public safety since 1987 and now serving as a Chief Officer for a suburban fire department. - One question that comes up at every residential fire: “Did you save any of our pictures?”

- Married and the Father of an almost 6 year old. I realize how time flies by in the first few years and how quickly those precious few months go by.

Equipment

For most shooting we use Nikon Hi-resolution digital equipment,  and use Nikon 35mm film equipment for backup and special needs.  Novatron Studio lighting with assorted light modifiers.
